Leonie Rösler lives in Basel and works as an illustrator and comic-artist. Amongst comissions for several clients her comics were published in comic-zines. She also publishes her own publications. She often uses her work to process events from her daily life. In these ironic comic-strips she likes to use animal-characters to abstract the situation. In spring 2020 Leonie Rösler won the comic-scholarship of the Swiss German cities with her comic „Wen kratzt Ava?“ („Who cares about Ava?“) on which she is currently working. In 2021 this project was funded again by ProHelvetia.
