Lemady is an award-winning Swiss-British illustrator living in the foothills of the Swiss Alps, where she creates expressive, characterful artwork for children’s publishing. Working in a loose, mixed-media style, she combines colour, texture, and playful detail to bring her illustrations to life – exploring themes of family and friendship, everyday moments, and the special magic of childhood. Her work has been recognised with several illustration awards, which continue to inspire and encourage her practice. In addition to children’s publishing, Lemady is also drawn to projects that explore LGBTQ+ and feminist themes, infusing her illustrations with intimacy, emotion, and atmosphere.
