Eva Rust studied scientific illustration and has since been a freelance, not-so-scientific illustrator. However, she still likes to let herself be inspired by the animal and plant world. She enjoys drawing books about strong heroines and printing monsters. Her books have been published by Editions Cambourakis, Atlantis, SJW, Trotz allem and Tintenkilby. Her latest project "Pond" was created in collaboration with Lena von Döhren and exists as a children's comic and animated film.
