Anita Allemann
After working as a primary school teacher, I turned my passion for design into a profession – completing a degree in Graphic Design at the School of Design in Biel. For eight years, I worked as a Graphic Designer and Art Director at the renowned Zurich design agency Raffinerie, before taking the step into self-employment in 2016. Since then, I have been working as a freelance illustrator, based in Berlin and Bern. My illustrations are bold and precise, while always leaving room for storytelling and a touch of humour. My clients include, among others, the Federal Office of Public Health, Beltz Verlag, Migros, Monocle, Museum of Prehistory, Opernhaus Zürich, Raffinerie, Swiss and WWF.
